⚠ CONFOTUR is frequently misrepresented in DR real estate marketing.
La certificación CONFOTUR es una de las características más comercializadas en el mercado inmobiliario dominicano — y una de las más frecuentemente mal representadas. Los desarrolladores y agentes usan "zona CONFOTUR", "área CONFOTUR" y "elegible para CONFOTUR" indistintamente con "certificado por CONFOTUR", que son cosas muy diferentes.

Approval can take months to years. Do not rely on pending certification for a purchase decision.

Any genuinely certified project can produce a certificate number immediately. No number = not certified.

An expired certificate confers no benefits. Exemptions end on the expiration date.
